      Five-spiced Chilean bass

Any feedback on the Five-spiced Chilean bass from LAX in F? Worth trying or pass?

      looking at either:

      1) Five-spiced Chilean bass
      2) Grilled veal chops
      3) Ginger beef and fried rice

From what I have read most folks here say to stayt clear of the lobster.

      Any comments appreciated.

        Hi,

I will be using "Book the Cook" for the first time on my upcoming MEL-SIN flight and return.

Looking at it there seems to be the option to only choose one course. Though I notice some in this thread mention entree.

        So clarify please:
        * Can you only pick one course, or am I using the option wrong in some way as I can only smake one choice in the drop-down menu?

        Thanks

So yes it is just the main course.

Even tho, it's not on the official list, I've been offered Char Kway Teoh for flights leaving from Singapore before. Is that still offered for some Business/First class flights?

I like the ribeye too... if it is not overcooked. Do you know if it is possible to let SQ know how you'd like the steak done?

Yes, you can tell the cabin crew; the earlier the better. But do remember they are not chefs so it may not always turn out as you expect in a proper restaurant.

Are they still changing the BTC menus?

Have basically decided to surprise myself on future flights even when able to BTC as find the current menus a bit long in the tooth.

And I realise some of us have been BTC-ing this menu for a fair few years now... or maybe they could add a few more options to the existing menu... (just trying to steer this back on to the original topic, which I think was a good issue to raise)
