  • SQ 857 vs SQ 863 HKG-SIN

Which flight would you prefer to fly ?

Either one wouldn't matter for me.

It will be 772 and 773 both regional aircraft in F.

    Which one is better?

I'll be more concerned about Food

Seat comfort I can careless, because in back in Jan I already flew enough on the CMB sectors and I know the comfort

857 would serve lunch and 863 would be late lunch. I've done both albeit in Y. By the time lunch was served on 863, I was almost 1430. Having said that, I'll choose 863 simply because I can go and have a fab dim-sum breakfast in HKG before flying off.
I guess they would both be similar in terms of food in F. I'll probably select based on my timing needs.

Does the 861/862 suit you? Or is there still an extra charge for 300ER on that route?

861/862 does not suit me. Also I'm going to use miles, so getting an award on 77W is impossible via UA miles

I have already tried the New F, but no C yet

Looks like i'm going to fly 857 because the timing is better for arrival into SIN on a Friday afternoon to avoid traffic. 772 again it is, haven't flown SQ's 773 yet.

IMHO, leaving Changi at 3pm or 6pm would be the same situation on Friday. Of course depending on the destination where you are going. Taking MRT actually is not a bad thing. But again, you grow up with all those pampering.. so taxi it is for you.
And yeah, I thought you don't like to get up in the morning?
I personally agree with 9V-JKL, i.e. taking later flight. Better use of the hotel stay, i.e. not leaving too early. And I think the F seats to CMB on 777-200 are not as comfortable as 777-300. There is something differentiate those two. I think 777-200 has AVOD and non-AVOD. Hmm may be I am wrong. But 3 rows in F for 777-300 is definitely making the cabin look better than just 2 rows like on 777-200.

CGK you bring up good points.

As for taxi no taxi . My friends dad is going to pick me up. So for him it should be better for pick up around 3pm rather than 6pm on a Friday.

773 has 62 or 63 inches of pitch 3 rows vs 772 60 inches of pitch and 2 rows. The later flight is tempting and on top of that it looks like Rejuvenated is going to be around at HKG on the later departure on Traitor airlines. A chance to visit the Wing or Pier

The difference you speak of is 4 inches of pitch. 64 (777-300) inches of pitch vs 60 on the 777-200

It is aircraft dependent - some 200's have it and some 300's do as well.
