Too right. The rush got to me. But then again they shouldn't have similar airport codes to confuse me.

I suppose this also means the current Singapore-Dubai-Moscow flights will move from T2 to T3?

Wow a new longest flight for mileage accrual:

              SIN-IAH = 9930 miles
              SIN-DME + DME-IAH = 11153 miles

              vs.

              SIN-JFK = 9537 miles
              SIN-FRA + FRA-JFK = 10246 miles

Does this mean the B77W will not fly the SIN-TPE-LAX route permanently?

No. SQ have eight more 777-300ERs to be delivered in 2008.

I didnt realise the Singapore-Dubai-Moscow route is still retained. SQ's presence in Moscow seems to have increased exponentially in such a short time.

Ii's about the Black stuff, as well as increasing numbers of Russians going on holiday in the Asia Pacific region.

Bali and Australia were mentioned in the other press release, and there are lots of them in Thailand these days as well. Phuket was heaving with Russians when we were there earlier this year.

Booking for SIN-IAH (via DME) is not opened yet. However, SIN-DME on flight SQ62/61 is now available for booking.

                              Future SQ destinations

It is very interesting to me that IAH seems to be a more important destination in the US for big airlines like SQ and EK. I would have thought IAD would be much more beneficial to SQ with their star partner UA having a hub there. Also DC being the capital of the US. Does any one have any inside info. on SQ flying to IAD any time in the future? Will this be a future destination for SQ?
