  • Question about booking on SQ web

I just made another booking for a week trip to Korea during 2008 march, and I booked through SQ web ( I thought about booking through flightcentre but the cancellation charge by flightcentre is a bit more than 2 times than that of SQ's).

So here's the question I want to ask. When I made this booking, I only entered my Asiana account details but somehow on "my booking", krisflyer number is there. Why is that?? Is it now automatic enrolling ??

p.s : God, surgery on my eyes is a thing that I don't want to do it again.

My krisflyer number always automatically appears under 'my booking' (it'd go under the FQTS field in the PNR for tracking PPS value) whenever an SQ booking is created and I've FQTVed my LH or UA numbers. This is because I've associated my krisflyer profile with the LH and UA numbers.

I've not heard of people being automatically enrolled though... Are you sure you've not simply had a long forgotten krisflyer account with which you've associated your OZ number?
All opinions shared are my own, and are not necessarily those of my employer or any other organisation of which I'm affiliated to.

That's just the way the system seems to work. Even if you enter another ff #, only your krisflyer # will show when you look at the booking later. I would just ask to make sure when you check in, but your Asiana # will be credited if you made sure to enter it in at time of booking.

Perhaps you logged in using your KF login, and then made the purchase online?

I have KF number that is expired though but I did not log in when I made this booking. Apparently whenever I check-in at BNE, my miles are usually missing. Not sure why this is the case.
