  • Two Flights 6 hours apart

I am arriving back in Sin at 1.05 am from Seoul. The same morning taking off at about 7.30 am on MI. I have two alternatives:

    1. Go home and arriving door step at about 2.15 to 2.30 am.
    2. Stay the SQ Lounge...anyone knows the opening hours?
    3. Stay at the transit lounge.

In addition, is it possible to obtain a MI boarding pass at that early hour so that I could access the lounge?

Hope to have some ideas what I could do. Thanks!

    1) IIRC, the SKL opens 24 hours a day in SIN.

    2) There's nothing much to do in the transit lounge at this hour. The only place you can go to is the Oasis Lounge, located opposite Gate E11, for a nap. The transit hotel is fully book for now.

3)Shops that are open at this hour are the main DFS shops and Perfume & Cosmetics shop. The new Podium store, selling mainly Ferrari collectables, is also opened 24 hours a day. For a bite, the Food Gallery is open at this hour, but the food is nothing exceptional. Try checking out with the info counters (Central North & Central South) on which shops are still opened at that time, when you arrive.

    4) You should be able to obtain your boarding pass from either Transfer E or F, 24 hours prior to the flight.

    Hope this helps.

We put labels on people and fight wars over them. If we truly want harmony, we have to get past the labels.

      Come on...
don't you miss home? Even spending an hour in your own bed would be much more rewarding. Don't u want to see what's in the mail?

Well head home as you will be missing you loved ones. Wash up and head back to airport for your connecting flight.

Thanks Everyone for your Kind Advice above. There are no love ones at home. Haven't decided what to do but I think I will make the decision on the way back from Seoul.

Agree with CGK. After much travelling, even a few hours in one's own bed is bliss. My advice: Hop into a cab and go home.

I would go home and lie on my own bed. Even if it was 2hrs.

In any case, most of Changi is close at that time

Just had a colleague come back from ICN - it was -1c most days.

Seeing that you're going out on MI - it can't be to somewhere cold. I'd travel lighter, go home and swap "mission equipment" rather than drag two sets of clothes all over

contrary to what the rest said... i would rather you spent the night in the airport. Do you have access to SKL F?

I made the mistake to rushing home after touching down from SFO via ICN at one in the morning. Went home and koon-ed for 3.5 hours. Back to the airport for a 7:30 flight to PVG. You can imagine how jet-lagged and busted i was when i touched down in PVG

Location is Xiamen...cold but not as cold as freezing korea....BRRRRR

MI has only J Class so no SKL F access for me with just QPPS.
