SQ vs OZ - SIN TO PEK

So I am booked on OZ from SIN to ICN to PEK to YYZ (AC) I understand SIN to ICN is the new seats. This leaves SIN at 1040.

I know have the option of going on SQ from SIN to PEK to YYZ. Leaves SIN at 0115 - ie four hours later.

Both in Business...

SIN website says the SQ flight 812 is 777-200ER. Does this mean guaranteed Space Beds? The OZ SIN to ICN has the new beds apparently...

What do you guys think??? ONly diff is a CAD$55 change fee!

I don't think you will get the SpaceBed as I am 90% sure PEK is a B772. You will receive the Ultimo Minus seat (blue).

Even so, I would still suggest Singapore Airlines for a holistic Business Class experience.

I would still suggest you take OZ... you'll certainly have the new seats with OZ's A333 and their level of service is on a par with SQ! If you take SQ SIN-PEK you'll have a 772 with Ultimo Seats in Business which I personally hate! Go for OZ You'll have the same level of service and far better seats + ICN is a very nice airport to transfer!

i love SQ and i sorta agree that it provides a holistic experience. but yeah you'll get the blue seats. not really digging that.

You need to know what is important to you? Seats? Do you mind doing connections? OZ service is great. The seat is sorta like the Spacebed. If you like that, go for that. And yes ICN is nice to transfer and even if you have to sit at the airport for a while, it would be in a nice lounge...might as well try it all no? :-)

I like flying OZ. However, I would take the nonstop despite the inferior seats.
