  • Online booking + stopover

I wanted to book my christmas trip today but I encountered a little problem: I wanted to book VIE - FRA - SIN - SYD - SIN - FRA - VIE on the SIA web site and there is no option available for a stopover at SIN, though I really want to stay in SIN for a couple of days! Is this a general issue I have to deal with if I want to book online or should I go to my travel agent and pay some 50 euros booking fee?!

    Thanks!

On SQ website under the Book A Flight menu, you should be able to access the Stopover/Multi-City which is blue (at least on the Australian site) and activates when you pass your cursor over it. Click attached as an example:

    http://www.singaporeair.com/saa/en_U..._australia.jsp

This will then open a window which will allow you to select your preferred itinerary and dates of travel inclusive of stop-overs.

After selecting your itinerary it will give you a choice of flights and prices.

You will just have to book your VIE/FRA/VIE flights seperately.

    Hopes this helps

Or for a small booking fee (not sure if this is universal or only if ticketing through the SIN call centre though), you could ring up SQ to have the VIE-FRA-VIE flights incorporated into the same PNR/ticket. This will eliminate the risks of flying on separate tickets.

      SQ's contact details for VIE:
