  • First Class worthwhile SIN-BKK?

Wondering if the board have any advice on whether it's worthwhile to fly First Class between SIN-BKK?

I know it's the old style first seats on a 777-300, but was wondering if the meal service is sufficiently different from J to make it worthwhile?

    Thanks in advance.

While you will surely enjoy the additional pampering by crew in F, the difference in seat comfort (for a flight of this duration) & meal service is not worth paying extra for IMHO.

This is a flight that runs 1:50-1:55 most days. Not worth it IMHO

The meal service isn't that much greater to be honest but for seat comfort it could depened when you're intending flying, as they are putting a once daily 744 (with SkySuites) back on the route from October.

I would also say that it is not worth paying extra for F. I was quite surprised how short the menu was in terms of number of courses and choice. Here is my report including menu and pictures of the food.

Agree with the others not worth the plastic wrapped fruit they pawn off as dessert.......unless your Great Aunt is paying then by all means do fly F!

I suggest Swiss First Class on SIN-BKK. Not only do u get a lie-flat suite, but also much more dining choices than SQ and even maybe with an amenity kit thrown in!!

                Thanks for the feedback.

That was the direction I was leaning towards anyway and since SQ's website won't let me book a DPS-SIN-BKK flight in business for the Denpasar leg and First for the BKK leg I won't go to the trouble of calling them up and doing it on the phone.

If it was the 747 I might be tempted, but since it certainly is a 777-300 I don't feel tempted.
