              • So that mean you can not redempted the F saver on LHR route anymore right?

That is correct. you cannot redeem F saver on the LHR route anymore.

Any route operated by a 744 is going 77W, A380 or in the bin soon.

The only SQ destinations still served by the JumboJet are MEL, SYD, LHR, NRT, LAX, FRA, and JFK. The only one of those that might get binned is JFK. The only ones that could currently support WhaleJet service are MEL and a 2nd daily SYD.

That will take care of the first 10 WhaleJets. To deploy an 11th in current economic conditions, SQ will have to look at routes not currently served by the JumboJet, such BKK, PEK, PVG, HKG, or possibly ZRH (cut to 1x daily).

That's favourite, apparently. SQ25/26 going 77W has been planned for a while but stopping it at FRA is being considered.

744 'flights' but not destination getting canned is also a possibility.

or possibly ZRH (cut to 1x daily).
That's where they may get a needed 77W from.

IAH was also said to be under threat as it ain't doing great apparently, but there is the thought that canning it so soon after starting it wouldn't look good.

Anything is possible at the moment though...

Switching from 2x daily 777-300ER to 1x daily WhaleJet would free up three or four 777-300ERs. I don't think it will happen though. SQ get a whole lot more revenue from 2x daily 777-300ER service to ZRH than they could get from one WhaleJet and they might not be any more difficult to fill.

I don't think that's a consideration. LAS was binned after an even shorter time. The decision will be based on the numbers, not on saving face.

                              That makes it 13x 744s & 4x 777s.

Not necessarily. One or two 747s might be decommissioned before 1 April 2009.
