Well let's hope the article is better with facts about the seat then the supposed source of the information. Tan Kai Ping is Senior Vice President Marketing and Planning and not merely VP. Quite a difference in the SQ corporate organisation.

Interestingly, SIA is not equipping their 787s wit PE seating - although these maybe "regional" but still believed it would be used for up to 8 hours plus flight. But the J seats are still all configured 1-2-1 and not the "regional" 2-2-2.
SIA should equi[[ed all its new planes with PE so that PE can be available across all its fleet when the older 772s and 773s are retired.
