  • Rome (FCO) flight increase

Currently, from Singapore to Rome (FCO), there are 2 flights per week (Fridays & Sundays).

From 15 March 2017, this becomes 3x per week (Tuesdays, Fridays & Sundays).

From 20 June 2017, it becomes 4x per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Sundays).

Interesting! Maybe they plan to go A350 with FCO and the newer efficient plane can make it economical. Lots of passengers from Australia want to fly into Rome and with only 2x week, they can't compete with the ME3.

And not only ME3, but also against Cathay Pacific as well.

So far it says all flights will be on a 777-200ER (2006 J, refurbed Y).

So that's where they plan to send all the 772s.....hahaha. Perhaps if there are many 77Ws available and load factors are high on the 772s, this route could go 77W.
