Check in and bags when first flight operated by another airline?

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is well. Merry Christmas to all.
I have booked flights through SQ's website for a trip to Bangkok over the new year period..Very excited

All fights are ticketed through SQ but the first flight is a domestic flight to Auckland (SQ flight number but operated by Air NZ). My questions are...What desk do I check in at for the first flight and will my bags be processed all the way through to Bangkok? My layover transit in Auckland isnt very long before SQ286 departs and it will be a rush if I have to pick up the bags in AKL and drop them at SQ's bag collect.

Any help would be much appreciated

Check in at the Air NZ counter and get them to check your bags through all the way, shouldn't be a problem. Even if they can't issue the. SQ boarding pass at the initial airport, you can get it at the SQ counter in AKL.
