    • As per SQ app, SQ406 will be delay until 0730am ETD. Should be waiting for next available plane from SQ25.
Seem like SKF is down for some urgent issue.

        They're awaiting 9V-SKJ off SQ218.

A lot of angry passengers at the gate hold room:

That’s interesting. Am on board SQ285 typing this and during the delay whilst on the ground in SIN, the Captain came on and explained the delay was due to some duplicate seats caused by the aircraft change from a V1 to a V2 A380...

And despite a 1 hour 41 mins delay in departure, our ETA in AKL is 13:39 (STA is 13:20), only a 19 min delay. Must be strong tailwind en-route - flying time is only expected to be 8 hr 45 mins

          • Must have been a rough 2 days for SQ ground staff...
seems like quite a few A380s are down - SKF, SKM SKN...and of course SKT still isn’t back in service after almost a year. Feels to me that SQ has overcommitted its A380 fleet. They didn’t have enough aircraft for SQ856 and Sq802 today as well!

            • SQ975|30NOV (BKK-SIN) operated by 9V-SVM will be delayed due to technical issues with the aircraft. 9V-SVB is being ferried as SQ8850 to BKK to operate the return flight.
              STD: 1215
              ETD: 1810

On a sidenote, some interesting rostering* for A380 flights today:
              SQ308 operated with 9V-SKY (V3) instead of V2
              SQ424 will be using 9V-SKM (V2) instead of V3
              SQ285 will be using 9V-SKU (V3) instead of V1
              SQ322 will be using 9V-SKQ (V2) instead of V3
              *subject to changes

Due to closure of certain parts of Indian Airspace, the following flights have been retimed:
              SQ502|30NOV (SIN-BLR) operated by 9V-SHC
              STD: 2005
              ETD: 2210
              ATD: 2310

              SQ528|30NOV (SIN-MAA) operated by 9V-SSD
              STD: 2020
              ETD: 2200
              ATD: 2224

              SQ452|30NOV (SIN-MLE) operated by 9V-SCG
              STD: 2035
              ETD: 2205
              ATD: 2232

                  • Not a passenger flight, but SQ7292|28NOV (SIN-SYD) operated by 9V-SFO had an engine-strike during a botched aborted landing.

The B747-400F has since been flown back to SIN.

The nose must be too high during flaring and landing. However it seems the aircraft may have suffer the tail strike during take-off from SIN. We will have to wait for the investigation and retrieve the blackbox data information which will tell whether it is from landing or take-off.
