  • SIA/MSA Hybrid Livery

Hi guys, I recently stumbled upon this picture of 9V-BFC on the net. I am not clear of its authenticity and have not come across anything like this elsewhere, but does anyone have any information on this livery?

photo taken from this gallery: geocities.jp/j401f/potogalley.html
    Cheers.

It's just the regular livery, nothing special it seems. It's a B707-300 according to google.

I think the poster was questioning the authenticity.

It looks dubious as the front is in the MSA painting and style while the tail is SQ. Did see a picture of another 9V-BFC on airteamimages with full standard SIA livery. This could be during the MSA transition and they were re-painting it from MSA to SQ livery

I don't know if any can confirm the authenticity

I'm a bit suspicious of the "SINGAPORE AIRLINES". If it's fake, then I wouldn't call it an amateur photoshopping, but I just think the lettering is a bit sharper than it should be compared with the rest of the image. Something about the angle is a bit too perfect as well. But then I'm looking to find fault, so I'm predispositioned to be seeing this.
