Singapore Airlines from 23OCT16 is increasing capacity on Singapore – Hong Kong route, as overall Airbus A380 operation increases from 1 to 2 daily. SQ866/865 will be operated by A380, instead of 777-300ER. SIA operates this route 7 times a day.

Have a look at the new post on airlineroute. HKG only gets the A380 for a couple of days, then 866/865 goes back to 77WR daily.

Can they really fill all those seats or they are just trying to match the frequencies of CX?
Now CX is doing 8 vs SQ's 6 now going to 7. Really curious if the volume is so big there.
