  • SQ website booking vs. travel agent

I am trying to book YVR-ICN-SIN-MNL in C on the SQ website and want the ICN-SIN-ICN on SQ 15/16, however the SQ website doesn't give that option, only the direct SIN-YVR flight SQ 17/19.
Expedia.ca allows me to choose any of those flights at the same fare.
One reason I always liked to book on the SQ website is you can choose seats and easily make changes.
If booked through Expedia no seat selection is possible.
Does anyone know if I book through Expedia will my PNR still show in my SQ file after login?
Since an e-ticket would be issued by SQ if booked via Expedia is it still possible to just call SQ to make changes or would I have to deal with Expedia, which I really don't want to?!

Thanks everyone, I actually solved the problem, will e-mail local office and let them do the booking.
I just now remember I was dealing with this before and this is how it was solved. Sorry to bother you all - my mind is forgetting more and more easily.

I really got spoiled a couple of months ago flying on the new 777-300ER between SIN and ICN. I thought I would just do the direct flight each way, it's a little cheaper and less hassle with booking but remembering the feeling and experience in the new Business Class I just have to get on those new aircraft.
There is something about the atmosphere on the plane I really enjoyed and the seats, eventhough some commented that they were to wide, I really love them and find them very comfortable.

I do agree. The new seats are excellent. Well, I remembered how it felt after taking SQ16 then changed to SQ18 with SpaceBeds.

The Spacebed becomes such a let-down, eh?!
When I switched to SQ 18 and got into my seat(spacebed) I was a little surprised that the armrest, the table is in, was almost coming of.
At least they didn't use duct tape like they do on Air Canada to fix the seats.
