This is pretty neat. It would fit pretty well for their 77WN/77WR (which I'm sure it's targeted at). Until this post, I have not heard of any other airline launching such a thing. Amazing how technology has changed and am looking forward to hearing many positive things about it.

Hopefully it will be on all phone platforms (iPhone and Android, obvious, but hopefully they will bring it to Windows Phone, even though I'm switching to a 6S in January).

Or I would like to see this new technology first comes on the new A350-900 aircraft.

Soon the first A350 will go into cabin fit out, so I think this is indeed the right time to announce this ahead of their new plane.

I really can't see the point, unless I am missing something? This would save time yes, but is this such a big issue on a long flight?

I'm still planning to switch from my 920 to the soon to be launched 960 so, yes, a WP10 App would be good........sounds good, though, but first.......

1) An App for SQ in general, sorry more precise. One for WP and one that works!
2) A working website.

I have about as much faith in SQ getting a Companion App to work as I have had in the website these past (too many to count) years. They had a general App for WP some time back but removed because, well, it was pretty useless.

Please, SQ, do the basics first THEN do the enhancements. You're running before fully walking.
