Items Stolen From Checked Bags

Hi,

I have had a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses stolen from my bag on a recent SQ flight. Has this type of thing happened to anyone else? Am I assuming I am writing this off as a bed experience?

It probably has less to do with SQ and more to do with where you were flying from/to.

Well, sure. But the people who handled your baggage are almost definitely not SQ personnel. You might be able to get some compensation from SQ for the loss, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
