It's been done before...

Fortunately, I can also confirm that they admitted a huge bunch of TOF-ers last year. I snuck in along with them.

I do wish to one day experience the food/wine-tasting pressure chamber and see the food prep area

We got the full package: training centre, play on the simulator (I landed at Changi in snow...and forgot to brake... ) and tour of SATS followed by lunch there with the boss.

Its been a few years since I was in there. Time to check out how its changed.

Believe me, the irony isn't lost on me that of all days for them to do the final flight, it had to be on the week I got married

That's not 'technically' true as those of us who were in First for SQ747/748 the final 744 flights to/from HKG had a tour of the training centre.
