As an additional bit of trivia, Cathay's A350-900's actually do have a window in at least some of their forward toilets. Some pics from a TR here.
It would have been more beneficial for the toilet bowl in the CX photo to face the window but the window would have to be polarised when plane is on ground for privacy sake.
All A350s are owned AFAIK. Some have been used as security to raise additional finance recently, but I believe no sale-and-leaseback deals have happened yet.
