F check-in at T2 temporarily closed for renovation

I did notice a new stand for the White Ladies on the right as you enter those first doors at T2 recently. They must be revamping the whole process.

Singapore Airlines would like to advise that the First Class Check-in Reception at Terminal 2 will be closed temporarily for renovation works from 10 February 2014 to mid-March 2014.

During this period, customers travelling in First Class as well as Solitaire PPS Club members are invited to check in at Row 1.

In addition, KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members are invited to check in at Row 3 at Terminal 2.

There will be no change to check-in rows for Business Class and Economy Class customers.

Temporary check-in counters at Terminal 2:

1) First Class, Business Class, PPS Club members: Row 1
2) KrisFlyer Elite Gold, Star Alliance Gold: Row 3
3) Economy Class: Row 2
4) Economy Class (Self Checked-in): Row 3
5) Group Travel: Row 4
6) Special Assistance: Row 2 (Counter 12)

There's a sign on the doors of the check-in area that says it will reopen on 14th March. There is also a separate set of doors for the passport check of F/TPP, saw this on Tuesday but not on Wednesday evening, mostly likely due to the fact I was there during an off peak hour (9PM).

The separate passport check still bypasses the random bag scanners before immigration.
