  • TZ205 - really need urgent help

Hi all, I am not sure where I should post this.

I really need to know the status of TZ205. My sis is supposed to be on that flight departed TPE at 4am arriving SIN at 840. Earlier I saw the status at changi the flight was retime to 1145. Now the status is "Ask Airlines"

I was on the call with Scoot now and the agent keeps telling me, TZ205 is not on the list of delayed flight and she has boarded the flight at 4am....

I demanded to speak to her supervisor now. As this is very stupid, they cannot even tell me where is the flight now......

According to TPE airport website, departure time is now 1700.

Yes I saw that but I want to have confirmation which Scoot cannot even tell me.

They keep saying the customer has been boarded the flight and TZ205 is not in their list of delayed flight!!!

Ok..... After 1 hours on the phone, I managed to get from the supervisor that the flight was delayed and retime and now they cannot confirm the new departure time.

Really I do not understand why the first agent cannot even tell me this and insisted the flight is not delayed and my sis has boarded the plane.

They should post this in their website so that people do not need to call them for this information!!!

Well she did when the flight was retime to 1145 that's like 7-8am. She later message me around 10-11 am, and said the flight will be retime arpund 5pm and she was charging her phone at that time.

Also i read some other post they were asked to board the plane and then de plane again. May be because tz just realize that the crew will pass their legal limit.

There are many reasons why my sus cannot sent message or call but that's irrelevant.

The question should be rather why TZ only post the information by noon. That almost 4 hours after the flight suppose to be landed in SIN and by 10am+ their CS has no clue about the flight. She kept saying my sis has boarded the plane at 4am and the flight should arrive in SIN at 840 and it is not on the delayed list.

When I first read the title, I really thought this was about needing genuine urgent assistance.

Not only was this nonsense posted here, but also on FT. Suggest the OP thinks at least twice before posting again.

When the information isn't forthcoming from the airline, and where your loved one is uncontainable, things can be urgent. Noting that he deplaning only took place when the crew ran out of hours and that ops control in SIN did not have information of the delay, this was bad fashion on Scoot's part so anyone would be in jitters. Empathy cap on please.

Sounds cryptic to the letter. Mind substantiating your post?

So urgent that he had time to post on two forums? And less of the lecturing please.

If the airline will only confirm that a relative has boarded but won't say anything about the status of a flight, I would worry about whether there has been a crash or at least a diversion or in flight emergency. At least in the USA, when the airport arrival monitors say "see agent' it can be a sign that people waiting for passengers on the flight are being escorted into some private area to be given bad news.

Given this, I can understand the OP's use of the word "urgent" here and on FT.

OK the OP has his original question answered so closing this thread before it moves very off topic
