hi all, am wondering what you guys think

is it worth using 80K Krisflyer miles redeem London-Sg [12hr] flight compared to NYC-Sg [22hr] using 85K miles, both on A380 business class?

for the same flights, Suites on London-Sg 110K miles, compared to Suites on NYC-Sg 115K miles.

First - welcome to SQTalk.

Secondly - Kindly do not cross post. I've merged the threads.

Thirdly - do you want to go to New York or London? If I wanted to go to London, you could have 3 classes above suites thrown at me to fly to New York and i still wouldn't bite because that's not where i want to go.

availability for saver awards is another factor. because SIN-LHR is 4x daily, it is easier to get the redemption.

once SIN-EWR is stopped, i think more commercial bookings will go onto the remaining routes to new york, and hence less availability for miles redemption

But really, what a strange question. Is it just a hypothetical scenario?

I can't imagine a real situation where someone can't figure out whether he is in London or New York.

It appears that the "do the math for me" questions that were peppering TOF have now migrated over here.
