  • Lounge access at destination airport

Everyone knows that J or F passengers are invited to the lounge at the source airport, but are they entitled to lounge access at the destination?

I will be flying back from HKG to SIN in F and wonder if I could access the T3 lounge when I arrive back in SIN

Not in your case, unless you have a connecting flight in a premium cabin, usually. There are Arrival lounges in some airports but SIN isn't one of them...

Thanks. . I do not have connecting flight. Was wondering if I could head to the lounge for dinner before heading home. :-)

Usually the separate arrivals lounges are located in major airport hubs where arriving and departing passengers are segregated. Since this is not the case at SIN, if it wanted to do so, SQ could easily declare that its lounges can be used for arrivals too. A separate lounge wouldn't be needed.

I think SQ in general doesn't want to add additional cost unnecessarily. It's also not a very frequently-requested/used feature. There was a paid arrivals lounge in SIN T3 Arrivals airside a few years back. It did poorly and got canned.

Arrival lounges are located landside, after immigration and customs.

Declaring airside lounge as arrival may cause more mishandled baggage as passengers may not claim checked baggage for hours.

Interesting. I never knew they had an arrivals lounge. Maybe it's because Singapore's really small so it's easy to get to one's place of residence real quickly?

Notice I didn't mention it was SQ's lounge (it was Plaza Premium).
