Hi,
I just notice something weird this weekend when i tried to search for C-class ticket from SIN to ARN (Stockholm, Arlanda). I got quite expensive ticket price around 13.000SGD compared with the normal around 7000SGD including taxes. Changes dates didn't have any effects. If instead search for ticket with ARN (or any other cities in Europe that SQ doesn't fly directly to and that you have to fly with SK or LH to/from a SQ-city) i get the normal price around 6000-7000SGD if converted to SGD.
After finding this weird difference on SQ website I did some search on expert flyer (http://www.expertflyer.com). And I could see if i choice "SIN" as departing city and non SIN city in Europe like ARN, GOT, OSL, HEL, HAM or GLA i don't get any SQ published fare information just the IATA ticket fares CIF or/and FIF.
If I instead search with a non SIN city in Europe as the departing city like ARN and arriving in SIN i get the normal fare ticket likes DSE/JSE/CSE and so on?
I also got the same behavior for non SQ cities in north america like ORD.
Anyone who have any comment about this? Or did i miss something obvious?
Of course we can buy two separate ticket on SQ and one on SK or LH but it seems more like SQ forgot to publish some SQ fares or so?
