I just got home last night on SQ319.
Would you believe it is only my 3rd time on A380 J class? And last time if I had a choice.
Looking forward to return of 77W.
I'm not the only one. London-based friends who do the LHR-SIN commute have no way of burning miles.
(600,000 miles to upgrade from J to R is a bit silly)

And availability for F is now plentiful! I just checked.. Unfortunately, I'm paid to fly Y, not J, and it makes no sense for me to go book F, upgrade myself on J via cash and change the ticket upgrade to F...
Oh wellLife's A Bitch,
Love It
If GOD created me for only 1 reason. That reason would be to the love of my wife. If there was any other reasons involved, that would be for the love of Singapore Airlines

Not sure what is happening with LHR at the moment but last nights SQ322 was showing as 'Cancelled / ask airline' on the screens last night. Asking about it they were saying that a couple of times with the new SQ306 running SQ322 has been cancelled and SQ306 run with a 380. This strikes me as a rather strange way to go about it and I have to confess I hadn't heard of many SQ322 cancellations ?.

A380 sometimes with SQ 322, sometimes with SQ 306.

SQ322 does not depart from SIN on October 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 & 17. On these days SQ306 operates as an A380- all organised in advance it seems.
As of October 28, all four flights will take up their daily pattern utilising the same craft.
I guess if you were running the LHR flight information system and SQ told you that it was not operating SQ322 for six specific days only, I reckon it'd be easier to enter cancellations into your database than reprogram the flight for two weeks, maybe. (I work with advanced timetabling software but not in aviation, so I can't be certain, just a guess!)
