Although, I would like to think an SQ flight terminating in EZE (one that I could refer to as an SQTango flight ) should ideally be operated by a, say, newly recofigured A345, no?
Le jour de Saint Eugène, en traversant la Calle Mayor...
Wow! That's a seriously long detour to get to EZE. But I can understand why there could be some demand between MUC and EZE. And I thought SIN-BCN-GRU is bad. This is another 2000 klicks more, straight line!
LH operate FRA-EZE so SQ would become the only direct MUC-EZE service.
SQ would take a portion of LH traffic that currently connect via FRA, so that would cause friction between the two *A partners. Still not as much as SQ would cause by increasing capacity massively by using an A380 and obviously cutting the MAN connection. To fill that A380, after losing MAN through traffic from SIN-MUC would require a pricing war with LH. Is there really much need for a direct SIN-EZE flight?
I think this rumour might be a belated April Fools joke maybe!

Was there a need for SIN-GRU? Seems to be working...
FRA-EZE is the longest LH flight and the J and Y product so inferior to SQ's... SQ would stand a fair chance to fetch quite some business from LH.
