Anyone Charged for No-Show fee?

Hi All, need some advice from you guys.
I would like to take advantage of promo fare HKG-SIN-HKG.

However, i would only need the HKG-SIN sector as i won't need to be in HKG till end of the year.
A one way fare is is going at Almost $1000SGD!
If I were to take the promo fare, I have to pay $360SGD.
Will they enforce a no show fee if i were to buy the promo fare?

I would suggest you read the T&C of your ticket. Your answer would be there

Having said that. Why not redeem a 1-way then...assuming you have the miles or buy a 1-way with a LCC.

You will only be charged the no-show fee when you attempt to use your ticket again.. but since you're only going to use one way of it, then its fine. SQ cannot charge your cc without your approval.

But why don't you just give SQ res a call and then just cancel the return booking. Just say plans have changed. Cancel.

They won't charge you as a oneway ticket either.

9v-JKL: Unfortunately, i have maxed out my miles. Also have lots off luggage, so LCC's won't really close one eye if i go over by 5-10kg, SQ has always been very flexible with that.

I had on many ocasions need only to travel one way, especially so between EU airports and have always bought return tix, but the return portion never been used and have never been charged.
