  • Row 96 on the A388 all J upper deck

Does anyone know the story with row 96. I'm selecting a seat on the service from ZRH which will be serviced by the all J upper deck at the time I'm travelling.

It looks like the seats in 96 are in their own area. See the seat map below.

I'm wondering if they are great seats to have.

At this stage I have selected 91A at the front of that next area. Rows 11 & 17 already taken.

    Any experiences are appreciated.

I like the seat very much but its location may be both its strength and weakness: good service being close to the galley, but increased noise being near the lav.
Thanks for this. Is that a divider that is shown on the seat maps in front of this seat? or is it open space which allows the space to the screen to be extended?

Looking at Seatguru the economy seats when fitted in this area are being impact by the av noise as well.

i flew in 96k from SIN to SYD in early July. Basically it's like row 11 on 773ER except there is no bulk head - there is a full bench for your leg rest but if you stand up you can see the rest of the cabin. I found it perfect as load's were not high and I was the only person in the whole of row 96. I did notice however that the 2 middle seats have attachments for bassinets so beware of that. i didnt find the galley too noisy or troublesome - SQ crew do a great job at keeping the noise down. I honestly found the seat perfect, not sure how much of that though is because of no one else in the whole row including children. You dont hear any noise downstairs from economy class and didnt have anyone from downstairs coming up for a 'walk'.
