F on refurbished 777
Flew F in SQ637 on the 15th (last week) and the 77W for operational reasons was changed to a refurbished 777. Sorry did not get the reg, but this refit was very new based upon the quality of the cabin, i.e. not soiled at all.
Some observations:
Why is the IFE different from that of the 77W, i.e. Krisworld with different layout/options and less content, seemed to be lower resolution in my opinion.
Do not like the new head rests, sure you can move them out of the way, but in a seating position they are very uncomfortable, made my head lean forward at some discomfort.
Like the overhead bins, a carry over from the old config, for me they do not reduce the feeling of space, and it's nice to get your carry on out of the way.
Don't like the old style toilets, just a new finish albeit same layout.
Like the extra space in front of row 1 between the seat and toilets/galley area, would be good for a night flight as the noise is reduced.
