Hi Guys,

Planning a trip LHR-LAX-AKL-SYD-SIN-LHR for June 2012. Got in touch with a travel agent and was quoted price of £1294 (all-inclusive).

Am attracted by the unlimited date changes (except outbound date from LHR) although you can't change destinations but that's fine since i'd really want the date flexibility (subject to seat availability) which for e.g. i wont have with the cheaper QF alternative at about £1084 but with £100 per date change. Also i think you get the 29,000 krisflyer miles for this journey?

Do you guys think the price i've been quoted is about right? Apparently we can book now but the any cancellation would mean you lose 75 % of the total fare.

The SQ/VS/NZ/MI fare is based on mileage and season for economy class only. Which means that the fare changes based on when you travel from the UK. It doesn't apply to business class.

Currently this fare is one of the cheapest RTW deals in economy class from the UK. Go ahead and get it done.

Yes date changes are free of charge, but any route changes will incur a fee. Make sure that you also how much your TA might charge to change dates for you.. you may have to keep calling your TA to change the dates.

SQ I know charges a fee for changes when tickets are issued through a travel agent. So know that when you call in to do any changes.

Note that you are also free to include side trips from SIN on SQ/MI if it fits into the mileage..
