    This is nothing new. SQ has been recruiting Indian cadets since 2008. The first batch will check out as FOs next year. All cadets regardless of nationalities are giving allowances according to qualifications and the same once they get their CPLs.

        Just an example, if you are at the flying school in Sydney, you can expect to see a lot of Indian nationals training to be pilots.

          I would expect it to be quite normal to engage staff from a range of countries an airline flies to.

            seems like there have been shifts in hiring patterns... circa 1995 there were a lot of Military>>>Commercial conversions
