  • Can't believe this is still going on. Just booked MH for my next trip ex LHR - got a decent fare as well. All done in about five minutes.

    SQ website opened with this:

    We could not find the page you were looking for....

    Figured it wasn't going to get better from there and went to MH.

      anybody tried to cancel an award ticket on the new website? any idea how long the miles will be credited back?
      looking to cancel a round-trip but need to use the miles to book a new one asap. i know its almost instant on the old one, but on the new one...... don't want to get stuck waiting weeks for it to be processed.

        Incidentally, the upgrade button didn't even show up on my flight management page. Not that anything works on it anyway. Sigh... I will just stay put.

          • Tried to change a existing booking returning from a different airport. There seems to be no facility to do this.

            • Not to add fuel to the fire... but the blue colour is not very soothing to the eyes...! I know that blue is supposed to be soothing and a lot of airline websites feature blue as the primary colours.. but somehow with SQ, the blue and all the colours thrown in together looks as though it might make someone violent after a few minutes?

              Really, try showing the website to a few non- airline people.. eg your mother, gf, sister, friend or designer friends.. someone who doesn't care about airlines.. but know about colour and decor and see what they say.

              AA's for example has a lot of blue too but its not jarring like SQ's.. below are primarily 'blue' airline websites..

              • I just tried to retrieve my next trip schedule which is booked by my corporate travel agent.

                I got the following:
                Because you did not book on singaporeair.com, we require additional information to retrieve your booking

                I really find this message is sooo stupid. The PNR is unique enough to retrieve a booking. And the last name is used to make sure it is the correct set. Old website can do with these 2 combinations, yet new website cannot retrieve. This is what they call enhancement ar?

                to add more. After I add the departure and travel date, it retrieved the itinerary. I then select my meal. When I saved it. Again it prompt the same stupid window asking me the DEP Airport and DATE!!!!!

                May be I should just fly CX

                      • I just tried to retrieve my bookings, and now it insists I put in the return date and my next sector. If I could remember the details, I would not need to retrieve the bookings. What a HORRIBLE WEBSITE !!!!! When I don't put anything, it just goes back to start. Fantastic. I have never used anything so bad !! I think SQ is losing A LOT of customers with this new hopeless website !!

                          I tried to cancel an award ticket but recieved "Internal Server Error 500". I then tried to to change the booking and choose the option to cancel the booking and create a new one. Cancellation worked fine and the miles had been refunded immediately. However, the new booking was stuck in the system and I had to call SQ to re-book it.

                          I suggest to save yourself the hassle of using the website and just call SQ directly. If you use the website, there's probably a 95% chance you have to call SQ afterwards anyway in order to fix the mess.
