But if they force you to go through immigration you have to pay 25USD for the visa to enter Indonesia unless you are an Indonesian citizen of course or hold some other form of visa / permit. Whether you stay 30days or 1hr doesn't matter to them.

The issue here is also that lines at CGK immigration can be very long and very slow moving so a bit of a safety buffer may be good to plan for.
