SQ 16 to SFO at 9:25am, how late can I go to airport?

Dear all,

I am scheduled on SQ 16 to SFO at 9:25am. If I arrive at the airport by 8am, will I be able to make my flight?

Also I plan on booking a room at the Crowne Plaza, how late can I leave the hotel to make my morning flight with checked bags?

You'll have no problem checking in at 8am for a 9:25 flight, unless you plan to do some serious shopping airside

Considering the efficiency of Changi Airport, if you have no bags, I think you can make any flight within 30 minutes of checking in

It's not what time you arrive the airport, but what time you present yourself at the check-in counters. You may be at the airport 5 hours before departure, but if you rock up to the counters with less than 45 minutes to departure, even though you're caught in the queue, I'm afraid they won't take you.

Officially, check-in closes 40mins before departure and gates close 10mins before departure.

I thought US bound flight check in counter close 1hour before departure?

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport lobby is just a 5 mins sheltered walk to T3 check in counter - no worries.
