    Why is the 747-8 isnt popular? I always thought boeing is a better airplane company then airbus.

          Better is VERY relative. For a long time boeing has held the lead in the number of planes shipped, but Airbus has caught up and even surpassed Boeing in the past. On many levels both companies are highly competitive now.
