Think of it as their loads & yields trans-pacific would be less without the tag flight.

          Somehow UA managed to fill up their transpac Y seats pretty quickly. Will be on SFO-HKG flight tomorrow in J, both J & Y seems to be jam-packed.

            They will give u KF miles on every fare, thats one reason to fly with them ex-Aus to USA, good for mileage runs. They even gave u full miles on the recent $900 fares to USA from Aus. Quite a good deal. Other option for * Alliance ex australia is Air NZ, who are comparitively stingy re: miles but loads better in entertainment service and food.
