ASIANA - Silver

Just received an Asiana card, immediately sent me a silver status card even though I did have cancelled my booking with them.

My question is, since I have *G status on KF, I fly on an Asiana flight, crediting the miles to Asiana FFP, will they print *G on my BP by me showing my KF card? This is for the convience of lounge access and priority boarding..

Asiana Silver = no status (Gold is *S, Diamond/Diamond Plus/Platinum is *G)

If you have the physical card on SQ*G, just show it whenever you need to use the service (such as check-in, lounge access, boarding).

There is no way of displaying SQ*G while accumulating to OZ though.

I'm doing exactly what you intend to do (accumulate on OZ, priority baggage and lounge access on SQ*G). Just check-in as per normal at the J class counters (if you're flying Y), and flash your SQ card. The check-in dude will tell you that yr OZ number's on the reservation. Tell him "Yup, that's right, I would like to accrue miles on OZ, the SQ*G is for your reference only for lounge invite and priority baggage tags".

Ask for lounge pass if he doesn't give you one.

And most importantly, DO NOT in any case allow him to swipe the SQ*G card on his terminal.

I've faced no problems with this so far..

P.S.: Silver is the entry level for OZ..
