  • Will VA join *a

During recent months, Singapore Airlines have purchased an increasing number of shares in partner airline Virgin Australia, would this mean that VA may possibly join the *A group?

As a KF Gold member, I'd like to keep that status, but residing in Australia and having to travel to the US 2-3 times a year I cannot bring myself to fly the very long MEL-SIN-NRT-LAX SQ route to LA, especially when I can fly VA direct MEL-LAX.

Hopefully soon, flying on VA will earn me status credits/elite miles with SQ?

Any chance of any of this happening?

Just wishing they fly LHR-IAH direct. The only choice I now have is BA and UA.

The OP was referring to Virgin Australia, not Virgin Atlantic which I believe is what you're referring to

Sorry, I should have specified Virgin Australia and not just VA.

I'd just like to see KF elite miles to be earnt on Virgin Australia flights. Afterall, you can earn Virgin Australia status credits when flying with SQ.

                A quick question,

Am I able to earn KF ELITE miles if I was to fly with Air New Zealand? I understand miles can be credited, but it's the elite miles I am after.

Yes, with the right fare class, which can be confusing on NZ sometimes.
