selecting my seat on thai airways

i am going to book online shortly on thai but i see you can only select a seat in the back half of the plane ? if i ring thai airways will they let me pick my seat in the front half of the plane?

No, because you're on discounted economy fare. Wait til you check in at the airport and try to ask for a seat upfront. They are a bit annoying in this regard.

You can check in 24 hours before the flight and try to move your seat upfront. Thai also usually has an online check in counter at the airport (if you are flying economy and do not have elite status, this helps with the queue).
