Could we pool our knowledge of which star alliance redemption programs have the cheapest redemptions? This would of course vary by geography, depending on how which airline groups countries into regions.
For example, for SG-JPN, you guys probably know that Air Canada probably offers the best deal as SG and JPN are grouped into the same "Asia 1" region... while MY and ID are in "Asia 2". So, return trips on E/C/F can be had for 20k/30k/50k miles!
I haven't read through the whole Aeroplan T&C yet, but I was thinking of simply transferring SPG points over to redeem flights.
