I have one query. Does anyone know if buying this will automatically make me *Gold?
    Life's A Bitch,
    Love It

If GOD created me for only 1 reason. That reason would be to the love of my wife. If there was any other reasons involved, that would be for the love of Singapore Airlines

I don't think you will get *G status just membership access to get in to lounges.

That being said, if you want lounge access it should be sufficient. Wonder what the T&C with SKL will be? maybe cannot guest, I dunno

There won't be any T&C for the SKL as the SKL is not a *A lounge.

Is that price still on offer?

Which level do you choose to have benefit of worldwide *A lounges?

The US one had long gone, the AC one is standard price.

The one that cost $649 CAD. It is hardly worth it, I mean if you travel frequent, you can be getting star gold with free access anyway to all the int'l *G lounges. If you don't travel frequently, you have to use 13 times a year in order to get it equal to $50 per visit, $50 is more than you just buy a single use pass.
