Cathay Pacific Business Class CGK -> Shanghai

I intend to try out CX for the first time on CGK -> Shanghai roundtrip ( transit in HK ). I haven't taken CX out of CGK before so it's a first time. Like to seek opinion from those that have tried this route or travel on this sector frequently, how is it? And how does it compare to SQ? Seat wise and punctuality? Is there a good chance I can get the next seat empty or most of the time it's full?

Reason for trying out is the fare savings $$$$... Thanks in advance.

It's a 773 (onward) and A330 (return)

773 - It depends on what registration you get. I generally perfer B-HNM/N/O/P/Q as they are fitted with new Regional Business Class and Slimlined Economy Class seats.

330 - Only 2 out of 18 A330 are fitted with the new slimlined economy seats. As they usually operate the longer routes such as to Australia. You can only hope for the old seat's

However I have to say CX is a great airline to fly with !
