This question crosses my mind everytime I taxi past that Jett8 747-100F almost always sitting there out by the Budget Terminal: Does Jett8 actually fly regular cargo services, or does this carrier/aircraft sit there as an expensive advertising hording, occasionally rolled out to drag race Porsches...??

Jett8 has been operating regular scheduled services with its original 742F which was resurrected from the desert. The BT 742F is the one with the exploding engine

What's wrong with the bird? Saw it this morning when I was walking towards my TR flight. It's like a horse being put out to the pasture after it lost its last race.

There's another Jett8 parked at Changi West Airbase for some time. It could be seen when coming in from 20R. When I saw it a few days ago, it was in an all green livery in what seemed like a primer coating.

CAAS uses it as a fire fighting trainer now.
