Completely out of left field, but the Virgin Blue Group have announced the withdrawal of V-Australia 77W flights to JNB and HKT from Feb 2011 and the introduction of flights between SYD and AUH as part of a partnership with EY. The plan is apparently for VA to hub in LAX and AUH.
Virgin Blue (DJ) will also provide feed to EY services in Australia. DJ are also planning to introduce A332 aircraft on Australian trans-con routes.
