I just watched Dazz81 "Thai Air Asia", including other Air Asia videos and it got me thinking that the flight attendants looks alot like the chicks you would find in the club. I dont know if i can take them seriously because somehow the sense of professionalism and authoritative is lost in the long flowy dyed hair (sometimes curled), mini skirts and thick make-up. Dont you guys agree?

i watched the video and absolutely have NO idea how you can make those generalizations. first off, there isn't a single frontal view of the flight attendants within 15 feet, so it is impossible to tell if they are wearing "caked-on" makeup, let alone look like they are a bunch of skanks you pick up at the club. and yea, their hair is down- so what? there were no crazy dye jobs that you speak of. just because SQ girls wear their hair up, doesn't mean that is the only way- and in fact, the couple of SQ girls i've hung out with outside of the airplane i thought looked much better with their hair down. you make it sound like they just got off the set of a low-budget porn flick. people really need to stop with the obsession over other airline's stewardesses' outside appearances. besides, i would much rather have a stewardess that maybe is not the most beautiful but does her job well, than the opposite.

I get what your trying to say. I too prefer the traditional/professional look as its more classy and elegant (Singapore Airlines) and its does bring back the glamour of what air travel used to be. Air Asia and Kingfisher tend to go for the sexy and O.C look rather then keeping it classy, which is fine with me. I wouldnt mind looking at them on a short hop.

oh you watched my video?? hehe, i actually just uploaded another thai air asia video a couple of days ago too, it only has a few glimpses of the girls. They certainly are a different kind of girl aren't they? i have another air asia flight from surat thani to bangkok to upload but i just checked and no video of the cabin crew on that one, and a SQ mel-sin as well.
