  • Ryanair considering charging passengers to use the toilet

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7914542.stm

Another example that there is no limited to how low Ryanair will go.

Or probably a clever way to generate lots of PR for free...

Would there be a special rate if I book the toilet online?

Bravo Ryanair, this enhancement will ensure toilet exclusivity, I'm all for it! Matter of fact, why not add a coin slot to the toilet paper dispenser too? If Singapore hawker centres can charge for tissues, Ryanair should be able to as well!

A little extra to flush. 10p for a teeny one, 20p for a bit more water perhaps?

£1 for a small business, double rate for big business.

            50p to wash your hands.

Oh no...I will opt to not flush AT ALL

Would it be cheaper to buy a barf bag (I assume they charge for that too?) and go in it instead of using the loo?

Or just the floor in the corner of the galley ... no charge for that (at the moment)!

Hey, at least you've got some legroom in there
Capslock is cruise control for cool... not!

See you at W:O:A 2010- rain or shine!

That's what came to mind actually

But gosh if they are really considering it. Maybe in the future you'll have to pay for reading the inflight magazine (if they even have one), for using the footrest and of course the seatbelts as well- just a few pennies to ensure you have a safe flight

No inflight magazine (IIRC, no seat pockets and no windows shades) and what's this thing called a footrest ? It's been a few years now since I last took FR...

And all this is precisely why the Ryanair business model will not work in Asia. Its too cheap, and it'll end up being more expensive than flying on a premium airline.

Or worse, an inflight magazine, with no editorial content, filled from cover to cover with Harley St. ads
