  • JAL First Class

I finalized my AONE3 booking today for travel next month which will involves 8 sectors. 2 out of those 8 will be in JL F HKG-NRT and then NRT-LAX (sectors 5 & 6). Does anyone know which type of F seats JL will be offering on these two sectors (both flights will be on the 744)? Has anyone had experience on JL F and can comment on on their service and meals and how they compare to SQ F. Also whatever the F seat may be, how do they compare to let's say SQ's Skysuite? I know they have different types of F seats but none of them would be as comfortable as SQ's 77W F seat nor the Suites hence I feel a comparison to the skysuite may be more appropriate. I've never flown on JL F previously and really I've only gone as far as flying them C and that was 2 years ago.

    Thanks!

I can't help you with any of your answers but would be interested to hear about your experience.

Like you, I've only flown JL J (SIN-KUL a number of times and PVG-NRT) but I'll be trying JL Y, J and F in December. I originally intended to take JL F HKG-NRT but in the end went for HKG-TPE-FUK-KMI-ITM-HND on CX F/J and JL Y/J/F. More tier points!

I've only sat in the JL F skysuite once on a short ITM-NRT sector so. During that short flight I didn't like the seat at all. I tried all positions within the 30 minutes in cruise.

The seat is comfortable, but I personally prefer the Skysuite. If you want to try the newest seat on JL try flying NRT-SFO as the newest birds are flying that sector! With the new JL Suite!
