  • Qantas A380 Test Flights

After its arrival in Australia on 21 September, Qantas is going to fly the A380 to ADL throughout October for the purposes of conducting crew training with some dates having two visits per day.

THE world's largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, will make its first visit to Adelaide next week – staying long enough to cool its brakes.
The first Qantas A380 is expected to arrive in Sydney on Sunday morning and land at Adelaide Airport on Saturday, September 27. The giant airliner is due to land at 12.15pm that day, park on the tarmac while its brakes cool and pilots re-set its flight computer, and depart shortly after at 12.40pm.

The Qantas A380 is listed to make a further 14 flights through Adelaide Airport after that – all as part of crew training flights before the plane goes into service later in October.
