Trying to figure out options for my dad's first taste of winter
in December (with a stopover in HKG at the end of it to acclimatize him to higher temperatures
), and TG has an attractive C fare HKG-ICN. This option would mean I'd buy a separate CX ticket MNL-HKG.
How does this interline thing work? If CX has an agreement with TG, would they tag our bags straight through from MNL to ICN (2+-hour gap in HKG, which I'd rather not spend passing through HKG immigration
to claim and recheck our bags), despite the separate tickets?
